The PADI Discovery Scuba is the Number 1 Try scuba diving experience for complete beginners. Diving Experience program lets you get a scuba experience and the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI pro and in the safe confines of a swimming Pool  Have you always wanted a diving experience without the pressure of completing a certification course? Then the PADI Discover Scuba diving experience is the try scuba experience for you.   The ‘Discover Scuba Diving’ is a two hour introduction to diving.
On completion you won't be a Qualified Scuba diver but it will give you an idea of how much Fun scuba diving is and the reason why we are Passionate about teaching Northern Ireland Diving.

DO I HAVE TO BE ABLE TO SWIM?

While this scuba diving course does not require a swimming test, it is helpful if you have some basic watermanship skills. If not, you may find yourself uncomfortable in the water. If you want to be prepared, maybe take some time to brush up on your swimming skills so that you can have peace of mind that you’ll be comfortable as comfortable in the water as possible.

  • Learn the skills you will use during every scuba dive.
  • Hear about how to become a certified dive with the first certified Padi diving course, our PADI Open Water Diver Course.
  • Discover what it’s like to breathe underwater
  • Learn about the equipment scuba diving uses and you will use to dive and how easy is to move underwater wearing all the scuba diving gear.

Offering first-time divers an overview of all the skills needed and the opportunity with the diving experience and what it’s like to breathe underwater, this course helps participants decide whether they want to pursue a full Padi diving course certification.

Here at Scuba Skool we don’t struggle with coaxing people into the water, we usually struggle coaxing them out of it once their diving experience is complete. It doesn’t take long for participants to realise they want to complete a PADI diving course and become certified. And the good news is that you’ll already be well on your way to becoming a fully certified PADI diver!  We have been helping people discover the joys of Padi diving courses for many years and the majority want to further their diving skills by taking part in the Open Water Diver Course. why not give it a go with this diving Experience

This pool session costs £40 and includes your instruction fees, all of  your scuba diving equipment for the session and registration with PADI as a DSD Participant - all you need is your swimming costume , shorts T-Shirt to dive in and A towel!  sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health. answer NO to all the questions on the diver medical form found at the bottom of this page then your good to go or if there is a YES answer have your doctor sign fit to dive. some GPs wont sign if you have this problem give us a call and we will give you a few numbers of diving specialists doctors who could help and advise.

We run our pool sessions on most  Wednesday evenings, and can accommodate your Discover Scuba Diving Session most times.  No previous experience is required, but divers should be in reasonably good health (please request the PADI DSD medical form if you are unsure)

The session consists of an introduction to diving by the pool as the instructor sets up your equipment. Then you have the chance to try scuba diving, first on the surface, then in the shallow end. If you are feeling brave you may also venture into the deep end under your PADI professional diver's supervision. This gives you the perfect chance to experience the adventure of diving under safe and controlled guidance.  sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old.
